8 Days Tour from Casablanca Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca – Marrakech
Begin your adventure with a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world. After exploring this architectural marvel, you will be transported to Marrakech, and Check into your accommodation.
Day 2: Marrakech (Visit with local guide):
After breakfast, a local tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or Riad and take you to explore Marrakech's most amazing places, including the Bahia Palace and the Koutoubia Mosque. After the visit, your driver will take you to see the Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. In the evening, you can indulge in all kinds of street food in the Djemaa-El-Fnaa square or simply enjoy a cup of Moroccan mint tea in one of the many rooftop cafes overlooking the square.
Day 3: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – The Gorges of Dades
Departing from Marrakech, traverse the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, relishing scenic landscapes and Berber villages en route to Ouarzazate. Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah and the historic Taourirt Kasbah. Continue southeast to the Dades Valley, passing the Valley of Roses and Skoura palmary. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Dades Gorges at a local riad/hotel.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
Explore the Dades Valley, driving towards Tinghir and the captivating Toudra Gorges. Experience a walk in the famous gorges popular among mountain climbers. Journey to Erfoud, passing through a Palm grove and potentially visiting a fossil shop in Erfoud. Continue to Rissani and reach the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride into the desert, witness a mesmerizing sunset, and spend the night in a desert bivouac under Nomad tents.
Day 5: Merzouga Area and Camel Trek
The main objective of the day is to wake up early and witness the breathtaking sunrise. Following a refreshing shower, breakfast awaits at the hotel. Subsequently, we embark on a journey encircling the Erg Chebbi to marvel at the magnificent dunes of Morocco. A customary stop at the oasis of Tissardmin is included in our itinerary. The exploration continues to a nomadic living site, providing a unique cultural experience. Another delightful stop in Khamlia allows for relaxation with a cup of tea, accompanied by a small concert of Gnawa music. Returning to the residence, we enjoy a delicious lunch. The afternoon offers free time for those inclined to climb the dune. The day concludes with an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez
Rise early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over Erg Chebbi's dunes. After a hearty breakfast, depart for Fes via Errachidia, Tizi Ntlaghmat, and Midelt. Enjoy a barbecue in Zaida with mint tea, stop in Azrou to observe monkeys, pass through Ifrane, concluding your memorable Marrakech to Fes journey.
Day 7: Fez (Visit with local guide)
After breakfast, a local guide will pick you up from your Riad to explore Fes old Medina. Enjoy walking through its narrow alleys and historic gates. The tour starts at Bab Boujloud, one of the oldest gates in the medina, and includes visits to the Madrasa Bou Inania and Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest university in the world. A visit to Fes El-Bali isn't complete without seeing the famous Fes Tanneries, "Tannery Chouara." After lunch, the tour continues to the Royal Palace and concludes at a panoramic viewpoint where you can take pictures of the entire old Medina before being dropped back at your hotel or Riad.
Day 8: Fez – Rabat - Casablanca
