What we collect
- Contact and booking form: your name, email address, arrival date, number of travelers, starting city, comfort level and message.
- WhatsApp and email: your messages, phone number and any details you choose to send.
- For your tour: details we need to run the trip, such as your hotel or pickup address, flight times and any dietary or health needs you tell us.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and send you quotes.
- To plan and run your tour, including sharing the necessary details with your driver, guide, desert camp or hotel.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We send marketing messages only if you ask for them.
Who we share it with
- The people who provide your trip: drivers, local guides, desert camps and hotels.
- Our email, website hosting and messaging providers.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and its own privacy policy applies to messages you send through it. When you use our contact form, your message is sent through WhatsApp or your own email app.
Cookies and third-party services
Our website does not set advertising cookies. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers. Links to Tripadvisor, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp lead to sites with their own privacy policies.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it. Clarity records how you interact with our pages, such as clicks, scrolling and the pages you visit, using cookies and similar technologies. It does not record what you type into forms. This data is collected and stored by Microsoft. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
How long we keep it
We keep booking information as long as needed to run your trip and meet our accounting and legal duties, then delete it. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after a reasonable time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or object to its use, by emailing contact@camelridetrips.com. In Morocco, personal data is protected by Law No. 09-08, overseen by the CNDP. Residents of the European Union also have rights under the GDPR.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information and share it only with people who need it for your trip.
